The Captain Edition of MLB The Show 23 comes with the PS4 disc version of The Show. You can upgrade to the PS5 edition for free using the steps below:
- Make sure you have the disc inserted into your PS5.
- Press the “...” next to the “Play Game” button and select “Select Version”
- Select MLB The Show 23 PS5 version.
- Select “View Product”
- Then press the button that says “Free” under “PS5 Upgrade (Disc Required)”.
REMEMBER: THE DISC MUST BE INSERTED TO SEE THIS OPTION.
